Book Notes: The Three-Body Problem, by Cixin Liu
Took almost me 3 attempts to finish this book. First two times I naturally gave up (no reading habit), and the third time I lost my kindle in an Uber.. that too around the same time the main character starts to see unexplainable things around him! Anyway, managed get the kindle back soon enough and finished the rest of it in 2 days. It takes some time to get going and picks up pace somewhere in the middle. The sci-fi part gets quite hard sciency and the whole "game" aspect takes you on a trip with visuals that stay with you. Maybe its the translation, but I didn't relate or empathize with any of characters. Good that the plot carries the entire thing through.
